Dr. Megan Wemm, DAOM, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac.
Dr. Megan Wemm holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) with specialization in women’s health and pain management from Five Branches University, in Santa Cruz, CA. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) and licensed by the state of Colorado and California. Megan is also a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) which specializes in fertility and women’s health.
Since completing her degree in 2009, Megan has worked extensively in the Chinese herb industry, serving as an herbal consultant and educator for Kan Herb Company for several years. During this time, she traveled nationally, training professionals across many disciplines on the safe and effective use of Chinese herbs in medical practice. Megan also has several years of clinical experience, serving as co-founder and proprietor of Communi-Qi Acupuncture, a community acupuncture clinic in Santa Cruz, where she cultivated her passion for treating women’s health issues. Since that time, Megan has obtained extensive post-graduate training in the women’s health field, ranging from menstrual issues, hormone disorders, fertility and pregnancy, and menopause. She enjoys working one-on-one with women to create realistic health goals that help them discover a renewed relationship with life. Megan also works at Well Woman Acupuncture in Boulder and Longmont. Megan enjoys yoga, swimming and all the great outdoors has to offer. Introducing her 4 year old to hiking and the outdoors of Colorado is a joy!
